Australia Set For Life History
Set for Life became Australia’s first new national lottery game since Powerball when it started in August 2015. Players were required to pick eight numbers from 1 to 37. The Division 1 prize was scooped for the first time in only the third draw, on Sunday 9th August, when a Wollongong father in his 40s won with a ticket bought at Woonona Newsagency in New South Wales.
The first major change to the game came in March 2020, when the matrix was updated to its current format and players had to choose seven numbers from 1 to 44. Division 2 was also updated to reward winners with AUD $5,000 a month for one year, whereas it had previously been a percentage of the prize fund.
